For any company the brand logo is a major carrier of the brand image. Similarly, for BMW, its the blue and white in the black circle which has made history, and future very promising.
The rumor that BMW’s logo started with a propeller of aircraft is a myth, as there is evidence of the logo from a manual in 1917. It may be Franz Josef Popp who slightly changed the logo of Rapp Motoren Werke to BMW logo which was similar and adding Bavarian flag colors blue and white. Franz registered the logo on 5 October 1917.
